This souvenir came along with positive slides found in Malang. This set of photographs is popular souvenir at that time. As what Susan Sontag said that photograph gives feeling of possession. By collecting the photographs of foreign places around the world, people could take a look on the projected slides, a mobile, miniature of places that they can own, keep, and see.

This is what then made us decide to scan these covers, while the previous has already been thrown away. These are just a few samples of the albums, most of them that we have already scanned are those mini albums usually containing one roll of printed images.
